Loop Start was developed by a former MSP who was frustrated with the lack of good provider choices, functionality, and a pricing structure that, frankly, left money on the table.
We saw a better way!
When we developed our own custom in-house software and took advantage of the over-subscription model that Netsapiens and other big providers utilize, we quickly realized how good our software was compared to other choices. We decided that we needed to bring it to the masses. So, we left the resale MSP business and started offering our reseller software service to other MSPs struggling with poor features, outages, and price gouging prevalent in the industry.
We were also bothered by a couple of other things about the other providers. Many other providers will take pass-through items. They charge your customers, such as cost-per-minute. One provider we know of charges your end customer around $3 per minute to call the United Kingdom when it only actually costs about 1 cent a minute to do that! When your customers realize you’re gouging them, they will leave you.
The other thing that bothered us about other providers was that (as you probably realize) many of them are in direct competition with you! When we started Loop Start Technologies, we vowed never to compete with our clients, never to price gouge, always to have the latest software and upgrades, and to have the best features in the industry, bar none.
